Trash is collected weekly. This service provides curbside trash collection to approximately 8500 locations.

 

Ordinance 50.10: Placement for collection

 

Garbage in containers will NOT be picked up

 

All garbage, trash, or other waste material shall be placed in a plastic bag at the curbside no earler than the night before the scheduled pick-up day for that area, as established by the Santiation Department. Pick-up will begin at 7:00 am

 

The City of Easley Does Not Collect or Haul…

• Brush or Yard Debris from Work Done by Contractors

• Any Debris from Construction or Repair (Contracted or Self Repair)

• Asphalt Shingles or Roofing Materials

• Lumber, Gutters, Sinks, Commodes, Windows, or Doors

• Carpet or Floor Covering

• Paint Cans Containing Wet Paint

• Landscape Timbers or Crossties

• Chemical or Used Chemical Containers

• Hazardous Household Materials

• Lead Acid Batteries

• Tires or Automobile Parts

• Mulch, Dirt, Rock, Stone, Brick, or Block

• Stumps Larger than 8” in Diameter

• Brush Larger than 6’ long & 8” in Diameter

• Empty Any Type of Waste Containers

• E-waste: Electronics, Televisions, Radios, Computers, Microwave Ovens, Etc.

 

These items should be disposed of by the homeowner or contractor. NOTE: Brown and White goods need to be separated into 2 different piles in order to be collected
